Daisy Ridley

 Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley (born 10 April 1992) is an English actress from England. Rey, the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015), The Last Jedi (2017) and The Rise of Skywalker (2018) made her famous. She is the eldest of three children born to Christopher Ridley (a photographer) and Louise Fawkner Corbett (internal communications manager for a bank). The Fawkner Corbetts were the landed gentry with a medical and military background. Arnold Ridley, her paternal great uncle, was a soldier. He also made a name for himself as an actor and playwright (and is best known for playing Private Godfrey in the sitcom Dad's Army). Arnold Ridley's brotheris Daisy's grandfather, John Harry Dunn Ridley, OBE, was head of the Engineering Secretariat at the BBC between 1950 and 1965.
