Adam Mitchel Lambert (born January 29, 1982) is an American artist and singer. He has sold more than 3 million albums worldwide and 5 million singles since 2009. Lambert is known for his captivating vocal performances that fuse his theatre training with modern and classic genres.Lambert became famous in 2009 after he was second-placed on the eighth season of American Idol. In the same year, he dropped his debut album For Your Entertainment, which debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200. The album produced a variety of singles which included "Whataya Want from Me", for which he won an Grammy nomination for "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance".In 2012, Lambert released his second studio album Trespassing. The album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 ranked him as the first openly homosexual artist to be ranked at the top of the album charts. The album that Lambert released was his third, The Original High, was released in 2015.
