 Adam Noah Levine (/l@'vi:n/; born March 18, 1979) is an American musician and singer. The vocalist for Maroon 5's lead and rhythm guitar player is Levine. Levine began his music career as a member of Kara's Flowers in 1994. He also served as the group's lead guitarist and singer. Following the demise of their single album, The Fourth World, the group was reformed in 2001 under the name Maroon 5 - with James Valentine replacing him as lead guitarist. Their debut album Songs About Jane was released in 2002.
