Adrienne Barbeau

 Adrienne Jo Barbeau (born on June 11th, 1945) is an American actor, singer and the author of three books. Barbeau gained notoriety in the 1970s when she played the first Broadway Rizzo in Grease and Carol Traynor (played in part by Bea Arthur) in the sitcom Maude (1972-1978). In 1980, she began acting in science fiction and horror films, such as The Fog (1980), Escape from New York (1981), Creepshow (1982) and Swamp Thing (1982). She was best known as Catwoman in Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995) and the subsequent Batman animated series. In the early 2000s she was on the HBO series Carnivale as Ruthie the snake dancer.the daughter of Armene (nee Nalbandian) and Joseph Barbeau, who was an executive in the field of public relations for Mobil Oil. Her mother was Armenian and her father was French Canadian, Irish and German. She has a sister, Jocelyn, and a half brother on her father's side, Robert Barbeau, who lives in the Sacramento region.
