 Angelina Jolie[3 DCMG (/dZoU'li:/; born Angelina Jolie Voight;[ July 4, 1975) is an American actor, filmmaker and human rights activist. She has been the recipient of many awards, including an Academy Award and three Golden Globe Awards and has been named the top-paid in Hollywood actress multiple times.Jolie made her debut on screen as a young girl with her father, Jon Voight, in"Lookin' to Get Out" (1982), and her career in film began at the beginning of her career with the low-budget production Cyborg 2 (1993), then her first lead role in a major film, Hackers (1995). She was in biographical cable movies George Wallace (1997) and Gia (1998). In 1999, she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Girl, Interrupted. Her starring role as the titular video game character in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) established her as a leading Hollywood actress. She continued her acting-star career by appearing in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) and Wanted (2008).
