Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9, 1985) is an American actress. She has received various accolades which include a Satellite Award, five Teen Choice Awards, three MTV Movie Awards, and nominations for an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award as well as a Tony Award; making her one of the youngest actors to be considered for the "Triple Crown of acting" and also the youngest to be nominated without winning.Kendrick began her career as an actor in theater productions at an early age. Her first role as a lead actor was in the 1998 Broadway musical High Society, for which she received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in the same Musical.She made her film debut with the musical comedy Camp (2003) in which she rose to prominence because of her part in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). Further recognition was earned by the comedy-drama film Up in the Air (2008), for which she was nominated to the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress. She also earned a nomination for the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress.
