American actor Ariel Winter Workman was born on January 28th, 1998. She was the main character of Modern Family's Alex Dunphy on ABC. For this, she and her co-stars won four consecutive Screen Actors Guild Awards. She voiced the title character on the Disney Junior animated series Sofia the First and Penny Peterson, respectively, in the 2014 animated film Mr. Peabody and Sherman. In Phineas and Ferb she voiced Gretchen prior to being named Alex Dunphy on Modern Family. The series debuted in 2009 before ending in at the end of 2020. She continues to work in TV animation. In fact she voiced the character of Marina the Mermaid for Disney Junior's Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Winter was cast in 2012 as Sofia, the protagonist in the new Disney animated series Sofia the First. The show debuted on Disney Junior in January 2013.
