Brock Edward Lesnar (/'lezn@r/ LEHZ-nur, born on July 12, 1977) is an American-Canadian professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist (MMA) and amateur wrestler, and professional American football player who holds both American as well as Canadian citizenship. According to WWE's storyline Lesnar is a free agent that means he can appear on both Raw and SmackDown. Lesnar is the sole one who has won all the primary heavyweight titles in WWE, Ultimate Fighting Championship, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. He also participated in collegiate wrestling at the University of Minnesota. In 2000, he took home the NCAA Division I national title. He then signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, changed to WWE in 2002) before gaining industry notoriety in 2002 when he won the WWE Championship at age 25 and setting records for the youngest wrestler to win the title. Lesnar quit WWE in 2004 to join the Minnesota Vikings (NFL) but was cut from the team in the preseason.
