DMX

 Earl Simmons (December 18, 1970 - - April 9, 2021) who was professionally known as DMX (short for "Dark Man X") was an American actor and rapper. His debut album It's Dark and Hot, was released in 1998 to critical and commercial satisfaction. The album sold over 251,000 copies in the first week. In 1999, DMX released... and Then There Was X. It included the hit track "Party Up (Up here)". "Where the Hood At?" and "Stay in Here" were his top singles of 2003. Commercially as well as his singles from 2003 "Where the Hood Is?" and "X Gon Give it to Ya" were also very success. He was the first artist to release an album that reached No.1 five times in a row in the Billboard 200 charts. DMX has sold over 74 million albums all over the world. In 2006, he was a star in the reality TV series DMX: Soul of a Man which was broadcast by the BET cable television network. In 2003, he wrote the memoirs of his life entitled E.A.R.L. : The Autobiography of DMX.
