Elisha Cuthbert Phaneuf li;S@Born 30 November 1982. She is a Canadian actor. Her first TV appearance as an infant actress in the Canadian children's horror series Are You afraid of the dark? She also co-hosted Popular Mechanics for Kids. In 1997, she made her feature film debut with the Canadian family-drama Dancing on the Moon. She was first seen in the drama Airspeed (No Control), with Joe Mantegna. She starred in Lucky Girl in 2001. This movie earned her her first award, the Gemini Awards. In 2001 she made the move to Hollywood and was chosen to play Kim Bauer in series 24. This was her first leading role in an American production. She was twice nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards for the part. She played Darcie Goldberg, a college comedian, in Old School in 2003 and Carol-Anne in Love Actually in 2003. Cuthbert was widely recognized for her performance in The Girl Next Door (2004) the teen comedy film.
