Jermaine Cole, born January 28th 1985 is an American rapper. He is also a musician, singer and record producer. Cole was born in Germany on a military base and was raised in Fayetteville. Cole first came to fame as a rapper in 2007 with the release of The Come Up, his debut mixtape. Cole released his first album as a studio artist, Cole World, The Sideline Story in 2011, to try his hand at an acting career. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. The album that followed, Born Sinner (2013), also topped the Billboard 200. 2014 Forest Hills Drive (2014) which was an album with more consciousness, topped the Billboard 200. Cole received an Best Rap Album nomination from the 2015 Grammy Awards. His jazz influenced fourth album 4 Your Eyez Only (2016) it debuted at the top of the Billboard 200.album was released on May 14, 2021.
