Jameela Jamil

 Jameela Alia Jamil, born 25 February 1986, is a British actor. Her career began with Channel 4, where she hosted a series on pop culture in the T4 strand from 2009 until 2012. She was then the radio host for The Official Chart, and was co-host of The Official Chart Update alongside Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1. Jamil was the first female presenter on the chart show on BBC Radio 1. She relocated to the United States in 2016. She played Tahani Al-Jamil on the NBC fantasy comedy series The Good Place. TBS' late-night game show, The Misery Index, is hosted by Jamil. Legendary judges her voguing reality-based show. Jamil was involved in two superhero projects in 2022: DC League of Super-Pets animated film as well as the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series She-Hulk Attorney at Law. She has stated that Jamil was born with a hearing impairment due to congenital and labyrinthitis, which she has undergone numerous surgeries to fix. Also, she had hearing loss of 50% in her right ear, in contrast, her left ear could only hear 70%.
