Jennifer Love Hewitt, born on the 21st of February 1979, is an American singer and actress. Hewitt began her professional career as an actor and singer during her childhood. She was first featured in television commercials, then she was cast in Disney Channel's Kids Incorporated (1989-1991). Her breakout role was Sarah Reeves Merrin, a Fox Teen Drama actress (1995-1999). She came to prominence for her performance in I Know What You Did The Last Summer (1997) as well as its sequel in 1998. Also, she starred in the role of Julie James in the horror films I Know What You Did (1997). In addition to her role in these films, Hewitt also appeared in live-action Garfield films (2004) and (2006). She has appeared on CBS in the supernatural drama Ghost Whisperer (2005 to 2010), Riley Parks on Lifetime's drama series The Client List (2012), Special Agent Kate Callahan (2014-2015) and Maddie Buckley (2018, Fox first-responder procedural 9-1-1). The actress has been nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Miniseries or Television Film for The Client List pilot film (2010).
