Jodie Lee Ann Sweetin was born on January 19 1982 is an American actor. Her role as Stephanie Tanner on the ABC comedy Full House and its Netflix sequel Fuller House is her most popular. She was born in Los Angeles. She was nine months old at the time her parents were in jail. Her uncle Sam Sweetin, his second wife Janice, adopted her and raised her as an all-only child. She claimed that she was forbidden from talking about her adoption during public life afterward. Valerie, a sitcom in 1987, featured her as Pamela (the niece of Mrs. Poole) and she has appeared on numerous commercials in the national market since then. Jeff Franklin cast her as Stephanie Tanner in the ABC comedy series Full House, and she played the character until the show's conclusion in 1995. This is her most famous role to date.
