Julia Fiona Roberts (born October 28 27th, 1967) is an American actress. Her most well-known roles are in films that span a range of genres, she's been awarded numerous awards such as an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award and three Golden Globe Awards. Her films have grossed over $3.9 billion globally which makes Roberts one of Hollywood's most valuable actors. She established herself as a leading actress with the romantic comedy Pretty Woman (1990), that earned $464 million globally. She was a part of numerous commercially successful films in the 1990s, including the iconic romantic comedies My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), Notting Hill (1999) and Runaway Bride (1999), before winning the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in biographical drama Erin Brockovich (2000). Roberts continued to be a film star by releasing Ocean's Eleven (1901), Ocean's Twelve (2004) and Charlie Wilson's War (2007).
