Karen Sheila Gillan (/'gIl@n/; born 28 November 1987) is a Scottish actress. Her work on British films and television has earned her recognition, especially for her role as Amy Pond, the primary character of Doctor Who's Eleventh Doctor in Doctor Who (2010-2013), which was nominated for and received numerous awards.
