Kelly Clarkson

 Kelly Brianne Clarkson was born April 24 on the 24th of April, 1982. She is an American writer, singer as well as a TV personality. Her fame was boosted when she won the first season of American Idol in 2002, which earned her a record contract with RCA. Her debut single "A Moment Like This" made the top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was the country's most-sold single in 2002. It was included on her debut studio album, Thankful (2003), that debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. In an effort to change her image, Clarkson parted ways with Idol management and moved to pop rock for her sophomore album, Breakaway (2004). It was accompanied by four US top-ten singles - the album's title song, "Since U Been Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes", and "Because of You" - Breakaway sold more than 12 million copies worldwide and earned two Grammy Awards.Clarkson took further creative control for her third studio album, My December (2007) and co-wrote all tracks and becoming its executive producer. However, her label was unhappy with the album's darker rock sound and promoted it reluctantly.
