Kelly Ripa, /'rIp@/, is an American actress and talk show host. She was born on October 2nd the 2nd of October, 1970. Since 2001, Ripa has been the co-host of the syndicated morning talk show Live! Ripa has been co-host of the syndicated Morning Talk Show Live! since 2001. Ripa along with her husband Mark Consuelos, own an NY-based production company, Milojo. In 2014, The Hollywood Reporter named her one of the Most Powerful People in Media.Aside from TV shows on local channels the first time Ripa had a national television exposure came in 1986 when she appeared as the regular dancer on Dancin' On Air leading into Dance Party USA. Her career ambition was to become a newscaster at the moment, and she was often asked to do reports for news. Ripa was then cast as Hayley Vaughan in 1990. It was her first big acting role. In 2002, she finished her 12-year-long stint. In 2010 she returned to the soap show for two episodes in 2010 to celebrate the soap's 40th anniversary.
