Mick Jagger

 Sir Michael Philip Jagger (born 26 July 1943) is an English singer and songwriter who has earned international recognition as the lead singer and one of the founding members of the rock band the Rolling Stones. His songwriting partnership with Keith Richards remains one of the most successful in the history of music. Jagger's career spans six years. He is widely regarded as being one among the most influential and well-known rock musicians of the past. His distinctive voice and energetic live shows, as well as Richards' guitar style, have been the Rolling Stones' trademark throughout the band's entire career. Jagger received press attention due to his romance and drug abuse and was often portrayed as a countercultural figure.Jagger was born in Dartford and grew up in Dartford. After completing his studies at the London School of Economics, Jagger joined the Rolling Stones to continue his studies. Jagger and Richards wrote the majority of the Rolling Stones songs, and they continue to collaborate musically. In the latter half of the 1960s, Jagger starred in the films Performance (1970) and Ned Kelly (1970), to mixed reviews.
