 Cornell Iral Haynes Jr. (born November 2 1974) is better known under his stage name Nelly, is an American rapper, singer, actorand entrepreneur. He began his musical career with the hip-hop group St. Lunatics in 1993 and was signed to Universal Records in 1999. Under Universal, Nelly began his solo career in the year 2000 with his debut album Country Grammar, of which the title track, which was featured, as well as the single "Ride wit Me" were among the top ten songs. The album reached the top spot one the Billboard 200, and became the best-selling album of Nelly to date, having sold more than 8.4 million copies in the United States. His following album Nellyville was the first album to have top-of-the-line hit songs "Hot in Herre" and "Dilemma" (featuring Kelly Rowland) and the top five hit single "Air Force Ones" (featuring Murphy Lee and St. Lunatics).With the same day's double release of Sweat and Suit (2004) and the compilation Sweatsuit (2006), Nelly con
