Nicolas Cage

 Nicolas Kim Coppola, born on January 7, 1964 was an American actor. He is also referred to as Nicolas Cage. Born to the Coppola family, he has been the recipient of numerous awards which include an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award.In the beginning of his professional career, he was a star in several films, including Valley Girl (1983), Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), Raising Arizona (1987), Moonstruck (1987) and Wild at Heart (1990). John Willis' Screen World Vol. 36 listed him among the 12 promising Actors in 1984. In recognition of his performance in Leaving Las Vegas (1995) and he was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actor.He was later seen in several mainstream films, such as The Rock (1996), Con Air (1997), Face/Off (1997), City of Angels (1998), Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), The Family Man (2000), Windtalkers (2002) The National Treasure film series (2004-2007), Lord of War (2005), The Wicker Man (2006), Ghost Rider (2007) and Knowing (2009). He won his second Academy Award nomination for his role as Charlie as well as Donald Kaufman in Adaptation (2002).
