Pauley Perrette (born March 27, 1969) is an American retired singer and actress. From 2003 until 2018, she played the role of Abby Sciuto on NCIS. Perrette also appeared in film and television mostly in voice-overs and music videos. In New York City, she was a bartender. While working odd tasks in New York, she was introduced by a friend to an advertising agency director. This prompted her move to Los Angeles, where she was able to play a variety of roles, and even made guest appearances. She was a waitress at Cafe Nervosa on the sitcom Frasier during season four (in the episode "Three Dates and a Break-up") and also appeared as a guest in season one of 24. She's been in numerous films, including Almost Famous and The Ring. In 2001, she played the main character in Special Unit 2's season four episode "Three Dates and a Break Up" as well as guest-starring in season one of 24. Her most memorable role was that of Abby Sciuto (an eccentric forensic scientist) in NCIS the TV show that is based off the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
