Taraji

 Taraji Penda Henson (/t@'ra:dZi/ T@-RAH-jee, born September 11, 1970) is an American actress. After completing her studies in acting at Howard University, she began her Hollywood career as a guest actress on several TV shows. She made her acting debut with Baby Boy (2001). She was a prostitute on Hustle & Flow (2005) and was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor Cast in a Motion Picture nomination. She was also as a single mother of disabled child in David Fincher's Curious case of Benjamin Button (2008) which for which she was awarded Academy Award, SAG Award and Critics Choice Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress. She was in Date Night in 2010 and was also a co-star on the remake of The Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. She was the lead in Taken from Me: A Tiffany Rubin Story, a Lifetime Television movie.
