Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28th 1987) is an American actor and singer. She has been awarded many awards that include seven Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, four Teen Choice Awards and two Young Artist Awards. When she was a teenager, she began acting. Then she was dubbed a popular teen idol. Then, she appeared in independent films, playing several adult-oriented characters, including War, Inc. (2008), According to Greta (2009), The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2019), which was inspired by the Tate-LaBianca murder. Duff was the star of Kelsey Peters, TV Land's longest-running show Younger. She won two People's Choice Awards nominations for this role. As of 2022, she is the producer and star in How I Met Your Father as the lead role, Sophie.
