Jared Padalecki

 American actor Jared Tristan Padalecki was born July 19, 1982. He is most well-known for his character Sam Winchester on the TV series Supernatural. He was born in Texas and rose to fame in the 2000s when he began appearing in the television show Gilmore Girls as well as the films New York Minute (2004) and House of Wax (2005), later starring in Friday the 13th (2009).Padalecki won the 1999 Fox Broadcasting "Claim to Fame Contest" and later appeared at the Teen Choice Awards, where he met an agent. The first time he was seen on screen was in A Little Inside, a minor part. He first appeared in 2000 to play Dean Forester in the Gilmore Girls TV series. This role he remained until the year 2005. Through the first half of 2000 Padalecki appeared in a variety of television-produced films, including Silent Witness, Close to Home as well as the Disney Channel Original Movie A Ring of Endless Light. Padalecki played an uncredited character as a high school bully in the comedy Cheaper by the Dozen, that he appeared in after being approached by his co-star and pal Tom Welling, who played Charlie Baker and also the director of the film who wanted someone more powerful than Charlie to pick on him.
