Laura Linney

 Laura Leggett Linney was born on February 5, 1964. Linney has won numerous awards, including four Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. She was also nominated for five Tony Awards and three Academy Awards. Linney made her Broadway debut in the year 1990. She was nominated for an Tony Award for The Crucible's 2002 revival. Linney was awarded her Emmy Award in 2001 for Wild Iris, and she has received subsequent Emmy Awards for the sitcom Frasier (2003-04), and the miniseries John Adams (2008). She was a part of the cast from 2010 to 2013 on The Big C on Showtime and won an additional Emmy for the show in 2013. From 2017 to 2022, she appeared as the main character on Ozark, a Netflix crime drama. Linney is also regarded as s an established actor in the film industry. Her debut film was an uncredited role in the film Lorenzo's Oil.
