Reba McEntire

 Reba Nell McEntire (born March 28 1955) is also known mononymously as Reba McEntire, is an American country music singer and actress. McEntire is known as the "Queen of Country" with more than 75 million albums being sold across the world. In the 70s, McEntire has recorded over 100 singles in the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart with 25 of them reaching the top spot.She is an actor in films and television. The TV show Reba was a hit for in six seasons. McEntire also owns several companies that include clothing line.One of four children, McEntire was born and raised in the state of Oklahoma. McEntire was a part of the Singing McEntires with her mother and siblings. They recorded music for a label of a smaller size and appeared at local events. McEntire attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University to study to be a teacher in the public schools. Red Steagall, a country singer, was a witness to McEntire's singing at the rodeo. Steagall impressed by McEntire's singing voiceand voice, assisted her sign a recording deal for country music with PolyGram/Mercury Records back in 1975.
