Ronda Jean Rousey known as 'raUziwas born on February 1st in 1987. She is an American professional wrestler and actress. The current contract is by WWE. In her second reign she is the SmackDown Women's champion. Her time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship is what is what makes her the most well-known. Roddy Piper, a professional wrestler, gave her the nickname "Rowdy". She was the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Rousey started her mixed martial arts (MMA), career in 2011 when she joined King of the Cage. After joining Strikeforce and becoming their last Women's Bantamweight Champion before it was bought by UFC. Rousey was part of the company's debut ever female bout at UFC 157, was their first Women's Bantamweight Champion and was the record holder for the the most UFC title defenses (6) by an female fighter, until she was overtaken by Valentina Shevchenko in 2022. Rousey retired from MMA in the year 2016 and was the first female fighter inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in the year 2018.
