Nicholas Scott Cannon was born on October 8, 1980. Cannon is an American comedian, television host actor, rapper, and performer. Cannon started his television career as a teenager by hosting All That. Then, he became the host of the show The Nick Cannon Show and Wild 'n out, America's Got Talent and Lip Sync Battle Shorties. Cannon appeared in the movies Drumline and Love Don't cost a Thing. Then he was able to host The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'n Out, America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, The Masked Singer, and The Nick Cannon Show. In 2003, he released his self-titled debut album, which featured the single "Gigolo", a collaboration with R. Kelly. In 2007, he portrayed the role of fictional football player TJ Harper in the movie Goal II: Living the Dream. In 2006, Cannon recorded the singles "Dime Piece" and "My Wife" for the album planned Stages that was never released.Cannon was born on the 8th of October 1980 in San Diego, California. Cannon was mostly raised by his paternal grandpa, who he and his biological father referred to as "dad". Cannon was raised in Lincoln Park's Bay Vista Housing Projects as when he was a young child. This is a gang-ridden region of Southeast San Diego. In his teen years, he was affiliated with the "Lincoln Park Bloods" street gang, however, he said that he resigned his affiliations after losing an important friend.
