Ron Howard

 Born March 1st, 1954. Ronald William Howard is an American screenwriter, producer and actor. Howard first gained attention as a child actor appearing in a variety of television shows which included the episode The Twilight Zone. He was the young Opie Taylor who played the character of the son of Sheriff Andy Taylor from 1960 until 1968 on The Andy Griffith Show. He also appeared in The Music Man (1962) that was a critical and commercial success. From 1959 until 1973, Howard was referred to as Ronny Howard. Howard was one of the main characters in American Graffiti (1973). Howard was known as a household name when he played Richie Cunningham on Happy Days (1974-1980). In the year 1980, Howard began to direct or produce and occasionally write a variety of television shows. His films included the comedy films Night Shift (1982), Splash (1984) and Cocoon (1985) as along with the Fantasy Willow (1988),
