Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr. Also known as Scottie Pippen is an American former professional basketball athlete. He was born September 25 1965. He was a member of the National Basketball Association (NBA) for 17 seasons, winning six NBA championships with his team the Chicago Bulls. Pippen is considered to be one of the best small forwards of all time. He played a significant role in the transformation of the Bulls into a champion team and helped to popularize the NBA throughout the 1990s. He was the NBA All-Star Game MVP and was a seven-time NBA All-Star. The Chicago Bulls retired his jersey in 1996-97, making him one of the four players named among the 50 greatest players of NBA history. He was a key player in both the 1992 Chicago Bulls Championship team and the 1996 Chicago Bulls Championship team, which were selected as two of the Top 10 Teams in NBA History.
