Susan Sarandon

 American actor and activist Susan Abigail Sarandon (/s@’raend@n/ named Tomalin,) was born on October 4 1946. She has won numerous awards, including an Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award and also as an award from the Screen Actors Guild Award. In addition to being nominated for an Daytime Emmy Award and six Primetime Emmy Awards, she was also awarded nine Golden Globe Awards. She was honored with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002 for her contributions to the field of film. She appeared in the 1974 TV films F. Scott Fitzgerald and "The The Last of the Belles" as Zelda Fitzgerald's surrogate. Then, the following year she played Janet Weiss, a musical comedy horror film titled The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Sarandon was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for Atlantic City (1980), Thelma & Louise (1991) and Lorenzo's Oil (1992) as well as The Client (1994), before being awarded the award for Dead Man Walking (1995).
