Wesley Snipes

 American actor producer, martial artist and actor Wesley Trent Snipes was born July 31st, 1962. His most notable film roles include Major League (1989), New Jack City (91), White Men Can't jump (1992), Passenger 57(92), Rising Sun (1993), Demolition Man, (1993), To Wong Foo and Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995), U.S. U.S., Julie Newmar (1995), The Expendables 3 (2014) and Coming 2 America (2021) in addition to the Blade film trilogy (1998-04) where the actor plays Blade. The most well-known of his roles is his role in The Player (2015) on television. Snipes was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male for his work in The Waterdance (1992) and won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor for his performance in the film One Night Stand (1997). He established a production firm, Amen-Ra Films, in 1991, and an affiliate, Black Dot Media, to develop films and television. From the age of 12 he has been practicing martial arts, earning the rank of 5th Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate as well as an 2nd Dan Black belt in Hapkido.
